About the event
Susitna River Coalition’s Wild Su Feast is a joyous event that celebrates the wild foods of the Susitna River Watershed and the communities that depend on them. This virtual event will allow you to send us recipes and photos of your foods that grew, flew, walked, or swam in the Susitna Watershed. Some of past delicious entries have included caribou frankfurters, blueberry bear, and Kahiltna birch syrup ice cream.
We will be holding a drawing with prizes, collecting recipes and images from YOU to create a Susitna Watershed Cookbook, and holding a series of online events with local food producers to connect and inspire us all. Participation from anywhere welcome. We can't wait to see what you come up with!
