Part of Wild Salmon Day Weekend in Talkeetna
Join the Susitna River Coalition and Denali National Park and Preserve for Talkeetna Trail Days 2025—a community-powered trail and riverfront clean-up in celebration of Wild Salmon Day and the wild places that sustain them.
In this annual clean-up, neighbors and visitors come together to care for the trails and riverbanks that make Talkeetna so special. This year’s event takes place on Sunday, August 10th, as part of a full weekend of salmon-centered events, including films, food, and more.
What to Expect:
We’ll focus our efforts on cleaning up the Talkeetna Riverfront and stretches of the Chase Trail, with tools and safety gear provided by the National Park Service. Whether you're a seasoned trail builder or just want to lend a hand, this is a fun and meaningful way to connect with the land and the community.
