STIP Amendment #2
STIP Amendment #2 is open for comment through March 20th.

For the third time, the State of Alaska is asking for federal money to fund the first 22 miles of the West Susitna Industrial Road, a project that has already been rejected twice alongside 300 other proposals. This 22 mile, $87 million project would lay the foundation for the controversial 100+ mile industrial corridor designed to serve foreign mining interests.
Tell FHWA “Enough is Enough” and to reject funding for the West Susitna Access Road (STIP Projects 34206 & 34461). Alaskans deserve better investments in their infrastructure. Instead of pouring public money into a road that primarily benefits private industry, what road project would you rather see funded?
