The Wild Su Cookbook is Here!!
Inspiration for the Table & upcoming Harvest Season
Our first Wild Su Feast Cookbook is hot off the presses!
Though we couldn't gather for one of our favorite Susitna River Coalition events this year, we still celebrated!
Thank you so much to everyone that submitted their recipes and photos to our first virtual 2020 Wild Su Feast. We had such a great time going through your fantastic and creative recipes created with the food that Walked, Swam, Flew and Grew in our free-flowing Susitna River Watershed. Your Susitna-based culinary pursuits made this unique event during a challenging year a success.
This year, we celebrated your efforts by turning Feast entries into the first annual Wild Su Feast cookbook. We are so excited to offer this Cookbook free as a downloadable PDF OR you can purchase a hard copy from a website.
What better way to prepare for the upcoming seasons of gathering than by perusing the creative dishes of our Susitna Watershed Inhabitants?

Week of April 26, 2021!
We are excited to announce a 7-day matching grant made possible by a generous anonymous donor.
The Week of April 26, 2021, we are launching our week-long drive to Fill our Freezer before the changing season!
Help us reach our goal of $2000!
The Susitna River Coalition has a big summer season coming up, and we rely on generous individual donations to make the work that we do possible.
This summer, we will be closely monitoring the West Susitna Access Road, monitoring buzzing about the revival of the Susitna-Watana Dam through the Governor's Green Bank, preparing for a winter season of educational programs, and assisting with stream restoration projects in the watershed.
Give to your watershed and double your donation the week of April 26, 2021!

Winter Speaker Series
Earlier this month, we wrapped up our Winter Speaker Series.
We had such a fantastic season with great speakers from our Susitna Watershed including Mike and Paula Williams from Eagle Song Farm, Sue Mauger from Cook InletKeeper, and Ray Nix, a Natural Resource Specialist who was integral in creating wetlands protections in the Mat Su Borough.
Thank you so much for attending and making these events a success.
A special thank you to the Jessica Stevens Foundation, the Chase Community Council, and the Talkeetna Community Council for making these events possible. We would also like to thank all of our generous individual donors. We couldn't do the work we do without you!
Miss any of our amazing speakers? Check out our YouTube Channel to catch up and learn more about the stories of our watershed.
